In 1967, Delbert Kilgas and Dick Elmore started Excel Tool Inc. The company stayed under one entity until 1995, when Excel Mfg Inc. was created. The shop moved to its current 82,500 sq. ft facility located in Eastside Industrial Park in Seymour, IN. Excel Manufacturing Inc. is a privately owned business with over 50 years experience. They have the equipment and capability to machine a wide range of parts, whether it be 5 lbs. or 350 lbs. Excel is ISO-9001:2015 registered and currently has 90 employees.
